Welcome to Leanmote

Get from your first sign-in to your first dashboard in about 15 minutes.

Updated yesterday

Welcome to Leanmote. This guide gets you from your first sign-in to your first dashboard in about 15 minutes.

Leanmote turns the data already flowing through your engineering tools — GitHub, Jira, Slack, and 20+ others — into dashboards your team and your leadership can actually agree on. You connect your tools once, and Leanmote handles the rest: synchronizing data, mapping users, building metrics, and surfacing the patterns that matter.

What you can do with Leanmote

  • See delivery health at a glance. Track DORA metrics, throughput, cycle time, and quality without building manual reports.

  • Spot bottlenecks early. Bottleneck Insights surfaces friction across your workflow before it shows up in a missed deadline.

  • Align stakeholders on one source of truth. Engineering managers, directors, and executives all read the same numbers, just at different altitudes.

  • Govern AI tool adoption. AI Governance shows where Copilot, Claude Code, and other AI tools are landing in your team's day-to-day.

How Leanmote is organized

When you sign in, you'll see a left-hand sidebar with the main areas of the product:

  • Strategic Overview: a single page summarizing the trends executives care about.

  • Performance Delivery: your day-to-day delivery dashboard. Four tabs: Workflow Performance, Software Delivery Performance (DORA), Team Collaboration Network, Team Overview.

  • Project Financials: investment and output signals broken down by team and project.

  • Bottleneck Insights: friction detection across workflow stages.

  • AI Governance: AI tool adoption and impact metrics.

Each dashboard supports Views — saved combinations of filters and date ranges. You can build one View for "everything in the Roadmap project" and another for "the Platform team in the last 30 days," and switch between them in a click.

Your first 15 minutes

  1. Sign in. Go to app.leanmote.com and use your email or single sign-on if your organization has it set up.

  2. Create your organization. Pick a name that matches what your team will recognize.

  3. Connect your first integration. Open Settings → Productivity Tools and connect the source you care about most — usually GitHub or Jira.

  4. Run your first sync. Leanmote starts pulling historical data immediately. Backfill depth depends on your plan and the source.

  5. Open a dashboard. Performance Delivery is the most common starting point.

What to expect after onboarding

In the first few days you'll see metrics fill in as data syncs. In the first few weeks, your team will start to use Leanmote in operational rituals — weekly delivery reviews, bi-weekly access audits, monthly portfolio check-ins. Most teams settle into a cadence within a month.
