Discord integration

Pull Discord server activity into collaboration metrics.

Updated yesterday

The Discord integration brings server and channel metadata into Leanmote for teams that use Discord as their primary engineering communication tool.

What Leanmote pulls from Discord

  • Servers and channels you select.

  • Message metadata — author, timestamp, channel.

  • Mentions and reactions.

Connect Discord

  1. Open Administration → Productivity Tools.

  2. Find Discord under Communication and click Connect.

  3. Authorize the Leanmote bot to join the server.

  4. Select the channels to track.

  5. Click Save.

What it powers

Discord activity contributes to the Team Collaboration Network and to overall interaction-pattern signals. It's most useful for teams where Discord — not Slack — is the day-to-day engineering chat.

Common issues

  • Voice channel activity — Discord voice traffic isn't captured. Only text channels contribute.

  • Bot permissions — the Leanmote bot must have read access on the channels you select; verify in Discord's role settings if data is missing.
