GitHub Copilot integration

Pull GitHub Copilot usage telemetry into the AI Governance dashboard.

Updated yesterday

The GitHub Copilot integration brings Copilot usage telemetry into Leanmote, populating the AI Governance dashboard with adoption and impact signals.

What Leanmote pulls from Copilot

  • Usage metrics: active users, sessions, suggestions accepted.

  • Per-team aggregates derived from your team mapping.

Connect GitHub Copilot

  1. Open Administration → Productivity Tools.

  2. Find GitHub Copilot under AI Tools and click Connect.

  3. Authorize using a GitHub account with admin access to your organization's Copilot subscription.

  4. Click Save.

What you'll see

  • Adoption panel on AI Governance: which teams are using Copilot and how often.

  • Impact panel: cycle-time and review-latency comparison between Copilot-enabled and Copilot-disabled members.

Common issues

  • Telemetry not appearing — confirm the connecting user has admin access to the Copilot subscription, not just a personal seat.

  • Per-user numbers missing — GitHub aggregates Copilot data at the org level for some plans. Per-user breakdowns require the appropriate plan tier.
