Sharing and duplicating Views

Share a View link with teammates or duplicate one as a starting point.

Updated yesterday

Once a View captures the configuration you want, you can share it with teammates or duplicate it as a starting point for related Views.

Sharing a View

  1. Open the View in the dashboard.

  2. Click the Share view button in the top toolbar.

  3. Copy the URL and send it to a teammate, or paste it into your team's wiki, ticketing tool, or chat.

The recipient must have access to the same Leanmote workspace to load the View. They will see the same filter and date-range configuration when they open the link.

Duplicating a View

If you want a new View that's similar to an existing one — e.g., the same dashboard configuration but for a different team — duplicate it:

  1. Open the source View.

  2. Click Duplicate View.

  3. Edit the name and adjust filters in the duplicate.

  4. Click Save.

When to share vs. duplicate

  • Share when teammates need to see exactly what you see — for reviews, decisions, or pinned dashboards.

  • Duplicate when you want a new View that diverges from the source in scope (different team, different range, different projects).

Cleanup tips

  • Periodically review the View list and delete unused Views to keep the sidebar tidy.

  • Avoid duplicating Views without renaming — multiple "Copy of X" entries make the sidebar hard to scan.
