Creating a View

Build a saved View on any dashboard with the filters you use most.

Updated yesterday

Creating a View captures the filters and date range you have applied to a dashboard so you can return to the exact same configuration in one click.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the dashboard you want to save a View on (Performance Delivery, Project Financials, etc.).

  2. Apply the filters you want — date range, team, project, workflow segment.

  3. In the dashboard sidebar, click + New View under the dashboard's name.

  4. Give the View a clear name. Match how your team will refer to it ("Weekly delivery review", "Platform team — Q1").

  5. Click Save. The View appears in the sidebar and is selected automatically.

Naming conventions that scale

  • Lead with the audience or cadence: "Weekly", "Monthly", "Sprint review".

  • Include the team or scope: "Platform — Weekly", "Bug Rate — All teams".

  • Avoid date stamps in names — date ranges are saved inside the View itself.

What you can't change after creating

  • The dashboard a View belongs to. Views are scoped to one dashboard. To save the same filters on a different dashboard, create a new View there.
