Discoveries is where Leanmote shows you the repositories, boards, workflow statuses and Slack channels it found in your connected tools, so you can decide what it should measure.

The important thing to know first: what Leanmote finds usually starts being measured on its own. With Automatic activation on, a new repo or board is picked up as soon as discovery sees it, and your job is to switch off what you don't want measured — not to approve everything one by one. With the setting off, new items wait paused until you turn them on.

Only users with the Manager or Owner access level. Every endpoint on this page is admin-only, so for other roles the link doesn't appear in the sidebar and the direct URL returns a 403.

Left sidebar → Discoveries. The number next to the title counts the items still waiting for review.

People are not a tab here. External people your tools report are on the Users page, under the Discovered segment — "people your connected tools report who are not in Leanmote yet". See Users management.

Three segments across the top answer one question — what do I still have to decide?

Inside a segment, each row carries its own status, because "unreviewed" and "already being measured" are not the same thing:

The Automatic activation setting decides what happens to new findings:

Flipping it never touches what already exists: turn it off and anything already measuring keeps going; turn it on and anything already switched off stays off.

​

Exceptions by person and tool opens What gets measured on its own, where you choose what stays out of automatic activation.

Every row has a checkbox, and the actions are the same one way or in bulk:

Bulk works the same: tick rows, or Select all N in this tab, then Measure or Do not measure. It runs in the background, so you can keep working, and an Undo appears right after so a wrong click costs nothing.

Activating a repo or board that was never measured opens Accept and load data, which asks how much history the initial extraction should include:

Then Confirm and load data queues it. Channels don't ask: their messages are picked up on the next sync.

​

Each discovered status gets classified automatically into one of five buckets, and you can change it in the cell — no dialog:

The classification is what makes a status count as active time, waiting time or completed work, so a status left in the wrong bucket skews cycle time.

Discovery runs by itself daily at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. To check immediately — you just connected a tool and want to see what it finds — use the picker in the triage bar: Discover repositories, Discover boards, Discover statuses or Discover channels. It reports back when the run completes and how many new pending items it found; a run already in progress takes your request rather than starting a second one.

Each filterable column has its own funnel, so a filter you set from a column is a filter you find again by looking at that column. You can filter by tool, by name, by status, by item type, by board, by channel type and by classification. Sorting works on the sortable headers.

When the list comes back empty, the empty state tells you which of the three cases you're in: nothing waiting for review, no tools connected yet, or rows that exist but don't pass the current column filters.
